The multifunctional building OC ROCA in Košice offers modern, open and architecturally interesting congress spaces thanks to the use of DELTABEAM® Composite Beams and prestressed hollow core panels.

The use of DELTABEAM® Composite Beams in the OC ROCA Polyfunctional building made it possible to create spacious and architecturally interesting congress spaces and at the same time made it possible to create a wider access ramp in the basement.

In both cases, it was possible to create a beamless ceiling. The DELTABEAM® Composite Beams in the cantilever part of the building also had a strict requirement for deflection due to the glass facade at the end of the cantilever. This requirement was met despite the high local load from the storage for sliding partitions directly in the cantilever part.

Some DELTABEAM® Composite Beams included built-in formwork, since the building also had more complex beam shapes, especially at the point where two expansion joints were connected at an angle. Such formwork allowed for easy implementation of finishing concrete, especially in more complicated places. The use of screw connections in the building enabled a simple connection between the monolithic part of the building and the prefabricated skeleton.
